Joint venture of BBU and UBSUA
BBU x UBSUA

Learn, sell, and build—together.

BBU × UBSUA is the joint venture of Black Business Utah (BBU) and the Utah Black Student Union Alliance (UBSUA). BSU students sell packaged digital products to Black-owned businesses across Utah. Students may use the same products themselves.

Two doors. One table. Nobody gets the leftover pitch.

Businesses on one side. Students on the other.

We do not mix the two audiences into one generic pitch. You know which chair is yours.

BSU students

Sell the packages. Get trained. Use the same stack on your own projects. You are a seller and a builder, not unpaid labor.

The stack

Four packaged products. Named, not vague.

01

Websites

A site a customer can actually find and use.

02

Phone systems

Calls that reach the business, not a dead line.

03

E-commerce

Online sales without a faceless national cart.

04

Content distribution

Get the work in front of the people who need it.

Related add-ons may include booking, basic branding, email/SMS setup, and social content kits. Pricing, eligibility, and fulfillment will be confirmed — request a package rather than guessing a number.

How the model works

Students sell. The joint venture supplies the products, training, and support.

This is not a typical web agency. It is not a national software brand. It is a Utah social enterprise with two jobs: student entrepreneurship and community wealth-building.

1. SellA trained student seller sits with the business.
2. FulfillThe package is built from the joint-venture stack.
3. SupportThe JV stands behind the work after delivery.
